Holy Crap, You Damn Near Won It For Us!

We are [almost] the champions, my friend.

With your help, Scorpio Rising damn near won the “Best Electronic/Club DJ” category of the 2013 Austin Music Awards. As it turned out, we came in second place.  C’est la vie!

Scorpio Rising has placed many times in many categories over the years, but this year’s #2 finish is our highest yet. So despite not winning, we’re still pysched and appreciative of the solid effort turned out by our fans, friends, and families.

Wonderbred, Madame Scorpio, and I want to express our sincerest thanks for everyone who took the time to vote. But until next year’s poll, you may hear us loudly proclaim at our shows:
